According to the Bible, the first wife of Adam was named Eve. She is mentioned in the book of Genesis, which tells the story of the creation of the world and the first man and woman.

According to the account in Genesis, God created Adam out of dust and breathed life into him. He placed Adam in the Garden of Eden and gave him the task of tending to the garden and naming the animals. However, God realized that it was not good for Adam to be alone, and so he decided to create a companion for him.

To do this, God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs, from which he created Eve. When Adam awoke, he saw Eve and declared, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man” (Genesis 2:23).

Eve is often seen as a symbol of the strength and beauty of womanhood, and her creation is often interpreted as a sign of God’s love and care for humanity.
